Swiss International Air Lines has been designated the official carrier of OMCOS 13
and is offering special congress fares to all participants.

to take advantage of these special fares.
Geneva International Airport (Cointrin) is situated about 20 minutes by car or bus from the city centre.
There are many international connections, and there is a regular shuttle service from Zurich Unique Airport
(flight time about 35 minutes).
There are also some low-cost carriers, such as
Easy Jet, that fly directly into Geneva from various European destinations.
From the airport to the conference centre costs about 30 CHF in a taxi from the
Taxi-Phone pool.
The bus #10 from the Transports Publics
Genevois (TPG) can also get you directly from the airport to the centre of town for about 3 francs.
Trains also run
regularly (every 15 minutes) from the airport to the city’s central train station (Cornavin).
By train (Cornavin Train Station):
Geneva is well-situated on the European train network, and trains are fast, clean and reliable.
The high-speed train from Paris (the TGV), for example, gets you to Geneva in about three and a half hours.
The Expo-Lac Conference Centre and most of the hotels are situated within easy walking distance from the train station so this
is a very feasible transportation option; check the SwissRail site for details on timetables and line maps.
Geneva is a small city with many cars, so parking space is at a premium.
Some of our hotels offer parking facilities.
If you wish to rent a car to visit other parts of Switzerland after the conference, cars can be hired at the airport, train
station and hotels (all major car rental companies are available). A national driving licence and credit card are required
and drivers must be at least 21 years old.
